System Availability

What system changes should I know about?

After 5 PM on Thursday, February 2nd, online and mobile banking will be unavailable.

These systems will be available again on Monday, February 6th when our new digital banking platform comes online. When the new and improved platform becomes available, you will have full access to your accounts, transfers, Bill Pay and more.

You may conduct your banking through our branches on Friday, February 3rd during normal business hours.

Debit Cards

How will this affect my debit card?

With this conversion, Movement Bank is excited to provide you with a new Movement Bank Visa Debit card that now includes the contactless pay feature. Your new card will be delivered to you in the mail prior to February 2nd. Beginning on February 2nd, you will need to call the toll-free number on the sticker of your new card to activate. During activation, you may select your desired PIN (including a previously used PIN of your choice). Your card will be ready for use following activation. Please properly dispose of your old card, as it will no longer be active.

Will I have the same access to cash and debit card purchases?

During the period from Thursday, February 2nd through Saturday, February 4th, the current daily transaction limits on your card will be changed temporarily. The bank’s standard limits should be reinstated no later than midnight, Saturday, February 4th. Please consider planning ahead and withdraw any cash that you might need prior to this period.

Digital Banking

Will Digital Banking be affected?

Our digital banking platform will be significantly upgraded. Digital banking includes online banking (think desktop or tablet), bill pay, and banking on your mobile device.

What changes will occur in Online Banking?

We are excited about the new enhancements and ease of navigation which will be available with our new digital banking platform.

You will find the presentation of information and navigability to be greatly improved.

Your account user name will be transferred from the old system to the new platform. Your initial password will be your login ID + the last 4 digits of your TIN (SSN for personal, EIN for business). For example, if your login ID is jdoe and your SSN is xxx-xx-6789, then your initial password will be jdoe6789. This applies to online or mobile login; the same name/password combination will be good for both platforms.

After 5 PM on Thursday, February 2nd, online and mobile banking will be unavailable.

These systems will be available again on Monday, February 6th when our new digital banking platform comes online. When the new and improved platform becomes available, you will have full access to your accounts, transfers, Bill Pay and more.

What changes will occur in Bill Pay?

If you are a current Bill Pay user, information regarding your current bill payments will be transferred and will be available to you on the new system.

How will Cash Management features be affected?

For customers who use our Remote Deposit Capture and ACH Origination services, there will be updated processes and system changes during our system upgrade. Our bankers will be reaching out to you with more details about those changes in the near future.

Will copies of cleared checks be available through the new Online Banking?

Checks clearing your account after February 3rd will be available for access. Copies of checks prior to that date will NOT be available. If you wish to retain this information, we recommend that you print or download check copies from digital banking prior to February 2nd. You can also always obtain a copy of a check by contacting one of our branch locations.

How will this change affect my access to my account on my mobile device?

Like Online Banking, our Mobile Banking services will be unavailable during the period of Friday, February 3rd, through Sunday, February 5th. On Monday, February 6th, our mobile app will auto-refresh. You will log into the app and follow the login steps listed on page 3 under Digital Banking.

Telephone Banking

Will telephone banking be affected?

Effective Friday, February 3rd, voice (telephone) banking will not be available. It will become available again on Monday morning, February 6th. Your default PIN will be the last four digits of your social security or taxpayer number. You can reset your PIN by following the prompts on telephone banking.

Account Renumbering

Please note that checking and savings account numbers will not be changing!

What do I need to know about Account Renumbering?

With the conversion, we will make some revisions in our internal systems for the following types of account numbers: loans, certificates of deposit, individual retirement accounts, and safety deposit boxes.

For loans, CD’s and IRA’s, you will notice a change in your account number. Your new account number can be found in our new digital banking solution or by contacting your branch. Transactions presented to Movement Bank with the old account number will be updated automatically to the new one.

You do not have to take any actions in this matter unless you have provided your loan account number for electronic or online bill payment and the payment is initiated by another institution. If so, please update your account number with the other institution after February 6th.

Movement Bank ATMs

Will ATMs be unavailable?

Movement Bank ATMs will be temporarily out-of-service on Thursday, February 2nd.

MONTHLY STATEMENTS FOR DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS

Will this change affect my account statements?

Be aware that your January month-end statement will be combined with the first 2 days of February and you will receive one statement covering that period. Deposit account customers will be mailed a statement on or after February 3rd, even if you have selected e-statements.

If you would like to print or save copies of e-statements, Thursday, February 2nd is the last day you can download these documents.

Going forward, you will continue to receive periodic account statements as you do now. These will have a slightly different look; however, complete information about transactions and balances for your account will be represented. Statements will remain on the same schedule as you normally receive them.

I currently receive e-statements. How will I access these?

If you currently receive e-statements, you will continue to be enrolled in this service on the new system, and you will continue to receive an email notification each time a statement is ready for you to view. The email will provide instructions for logging in to Digital Banking and retrieving your statements.

Statements and notices generated on or after February 6th will be available in Digital Banking, but there will be a delay in restoring access to all of your historical statements. Within six weeks, all 2022 and early 2023 statements should be available in Digital Banking.
